Under regional workshop OMPI-OAPI-INPI on application of the rights of the intellectual property to intention of the magistrates and the auxiliaries of justice of the countries Africa
From the 27 to November 30, 2006, a sous-régional Workshop on application of the rights of the intellectual property, will be held in Niamey, République of Niger, with intention of the magistrates and the auxiliaries of justice of 20 countries Africa.
. The aforementioned Workshop which will gather participants of Benin, of Burkina Faso, of Burundi, of Cameroun, of Central Africa, of Congo, Coast Ivoire, of Gabon, of Guinea, of Guinea Bissau, Guinea Equatoriale, of Madagascar, of Mali, of Mauritania, of Niger, Democratic Republic of Congo, of Rwanda, of Senegal, of Chad and Togo is organized jointly by World Organisation of the Intellectual Property (OMPI), L’OAPI, National Institut of the Patent rights (INPI) of France and the Government of the Republic from Niger.
The purpose of this meeting is to present at the participants the executives legal international, regional and national governing the intellectual property. It will allow, moreover, to examine the components of the infringements of the rights of ownership intellectual, to exchange with the magistrates and other experts of the right, on the practices of the courts out of matter application of right of the intellectual property, as well as the administrative procedures, civil and penal which apply in case reached to the conferred rights.
Workshop will also make it possible to have the problems encountered by the participants in performance of their duties, specifically as regards payment of the litigations related to the intellectual property.
It will be animated by experts of L’OMPI, L’OAPI and L’OHADA, like by specialists selected in the Member States in OAPI. Workshop will also relate to practical case studies presented by magistrates of France on the substantive patent law, the trade-mark law and the right of the industrial drawings and model.
